Educational Development Center(EDC)
Educational development is one of key structure in higher education. The EDC will have the following four major functions:

Educational quality management and evaluation

Faculty development and in-service training

Curriculum development, appraisal and revision

Educational research and innovation
EDC-Goals

Ensure that all HEIs (public and private) responsible for educating health professionals meet quality standards

Develop and promote a culture of continuous quality improvement (QI) in the activities of a higher education institution with training programs;
-
Ensure that health professionals receive a quality education that prepares them to provide safe, evidence-based and quality health care services

Strengthen external QA systems (accreditation and institutional quality audit )

Ensure that each individual health professional demonstrates
